Notice of Annual General Meeting – SATURDAY, JULY, 19, 2025 – 10 AM
The HCLPOA AGM is scheduled to take place Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 10 AM at the Boat Launch area on Horseshoe Lane. Rain date is Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 10 AM.
Please find attached the meeting AGENDA 2024 Financials were posted in the member Newsletter in early May.
Reminders:
1. Voting – In order to vote at the AGM or other member meeting, a member household must be in good standing and therefore must have paid their current dues in full by the start of the AGM. Members can pay at the AGM. One vote may be cast per household in good standing.


2. Proxy – If you are unable to attend the AGM and you wish to appoint another Member in good standing to vote for you by proxy, this must be done in writing, or by email, to the Board Chair and must include:
· your member address and phone number,
· the name of the person you are giving your proxy to, and
· must be signed by you.
· Your proxy must be received by the Board prior to the meeting.


No member may hold more than 3 proxies (votes) for other members.


3. Stickers – 2025 stickers will be available at the annual general meeting to members in good standing, distributed by members of the Executive. Please bring your sign if you would like us to attach your sticker. We will be happy to provide new signs to new members.


4. Puzzle and Board Game Exchange – A table will be set up at the AGM for members to bring their complete, previously worked jigsaw puzzles and gently used board games and swap them.


5. BYO Lawn Chairs and maybe bottled water too!
